Chloé Despax est programmatrice, animatrice et productrice d'émissions radiophoniques depuis une douzaine d'années à un niveau international et réalisatrice de créations sonores (documentaires, fictions et paysages sonores). Son intérêt pour l'environnement sonore, la voix et le langage sont nourris par sa pratique de médiatrice culturelle de l'art et son engagement dans le champ du social. Née à Toulouse (FR), elle vit et travaille en Belgique.

Au centre de la Rambla del Raval à Barcelone se dresse El Gat, sculpture monumentale en bronze réalisée par Botero. Par l'écoute des paysages sonores cachés et de la parole des habitants et des passants, l'énigmatique Gat va révéler ses secrets.

Chloé Despax is a sound artist and radio producer, animator, and programmer since 2004. She produces radio documentaries, fictions and field recordings. Her interest in the semiotic and musicality of spoken language feeds her work as cultural mediator and her continuous engagement in the social field.
Born in 1984 in Toulouse (France), she lives and works in Belgium.
