Fair_Play est un réseau destiné à promouvoir la visibilité/audibilité des femmes (cis /trans/non binaires) dans les domaines de la création sonore, des musiques expérimentales, alternatives, électroacoustiques et des arts et techniques associés. Dans ce cadre, Fair_play s’efforce d’inclure les minorités socio-culturelles ignorées par les systèmes dominants.

Fair_Play is a network dedicated to promoting the visibility/audibility of women (cis/trans/non-binary) in the fields of sound creation, experimental, alternative, electroacoustic music and related arts and techniques. Within this scope, Fair_play strives to include socio-cultural minorities ignored by the dominant systems.

Tsuku Boshi Depuis 2005, Tsuku Boshi serpente entre les musiques, pour écouter, découvrir, dénicher, faire écouter. Proposer, aussi aux artistes, entités (musée, festival), réseaux & association. Pour diffuser , créer en dehors du périmètre standard, sur un terrain créatif d'expérimentations. Tsuku Boshi est basé à Malakoff (Paris - France) , animé par Laurent & Nicolas.

Since 2005, Tsuku Boshi has been meandering between musics, so as to listen, discover, unearth, and share. Also offering artists, organisations (museum, festival), networks & associations the opportunity to do so. To diffuse, to create outside the standard perimeter, on a creative ground of experiments. Tsuku Boshi is based in Malakoff (Paris - France), led by Laurent & Nicolas.

Zineb SOULAIMANI

Après avoir vécu au Maroc, en France et en Chine, Zineb Soulaimani est revenue vivre à Paris avec une nouvelle perspective professionnelle : la création documentaire sonore et la fabrique de podcasts.

Ses thèmes de recherche tournent autour de la construction de l'identité, de la vie dans l'écart culturel et du féminisme contemporain.

After living in Morocco, France and China, Zineb Soulaimani returned to Paris with a new professional perspective: sound documentary creation and podcasting.
Her research interests revolve around the construction of identity, life in the cultural gap and contemporary feminism.

Laryssa KIM

Avec ses performances Laryssa Kim emmène son public dans un rituel, une transe onirique qui active chacun de nos sens, à travers de nappes hypnotiques, des boucles de voix, du chant et des rythmes lancinants, accompagnés de visuels. Chanteuse et compositrice italo-congolaise basée à Bruxelles, elle mêle une démarche de chercheuse acousmatique avec une chaleur soul, qui intrigue et réconforte à la fois.

Un premier Ep, "Lov'em All" est déjà disponible en digital et vinyle.


With her performances Laryssa Kim engages her audience in a ritual, a dreamlike trance that activates each of our senses, through hypnotic layers, voice loops, singing and haunting rhythms, accompanied by visuals. An Italian-Congolese singer and composer based in Brussels, she mixes an acousmatic researcher's approach with a soulful warmth, which both puzzles and comfort the listener.
A first ep, "Lov'em All" is already available on digital and vinyl.

Sage Pbbbt


La pratique du chant de Sage Pbbbt explore la magie rituelle improvisée utilisant la voix. Son chant s'inspire du chant guttural tuvan et mongol, du chant guttural inuit et tchouktche, de la poésie sonore et d'une exploration continue de la technique vocale extra-normale. Elle s'inspire de la musique industrielle, de la transe et du drone, de la pratique de la méditation intuitive, du chamanisme urbain/industriel et de la magie du chaos, du discordianisme et de Dada. Politiquement, elle est influencée par la praxis féministe, queer, trans et anarchiste, ainsi que par un intérêt pour la spiritualité de "la voie de la main gauche".

Sage s'est produite au/ NOWnow, Tilde~ New Music, Liquid Architecture, Inland, SuperSense et Totally Huge. Sage a été soliste dans l'opéra expérimental Speechless de Cat Hope.

Sage Pbbbt’s singing practice explores improvised ritual magick using voice. Her singing takes inspiration from Tuvan and Mongolian throat singing, Inuit and Chukchi throat singing, sound poetry and an ongoing exploration of extra-normal vocal technique. She draws on industrial musick, trance and drone; insight meditation practice, urban/industrial shamanism and chaos magick; Discordianism and Dada. Politically, she is informed by feminist, queer, trans and anarchist praxis as well as an interest in left-hand path spirituality.

Sage has performed at the NOWnow, Tilde~ New Music, Liquid Architecture, Inland, SuperSense and Totally Huge. Sage was a soloist in Cat Hope’s experimental opera Speechless.

Des musiques les unes dans les autres. Et point.


Peut-être qu’au départ, des matériaux sonores ont été partagés par quatre femmes très différentes. Et ce n’est certainement pas à Fair_Play ou Tsuku boshi de pointer ce qui les distingue du paysage culturel dominant. Et surtout nous en avions plus qu’assez des catégories qui en rien ne sont des genres musicaux.


Peut-être que nous les savions pourtant chacune en butée de quelque chose et que nous avions plus qu’envie d’outrepasser cette butée. Peut-être que nous faisions le pari que ces singularités seraient une richesse infinie pour composer. Et qu’il n’y a rien d’oser dans ce pari d’inclusivité, bien au contraire, ce serait même une normalité.


Alors ces quatre femmes et bien d’autres se sont amusées à jouer des matériaux sonores des unes et des autres, à composer, à affirmer quelques choses. Et bien d’autres se sont agrégées autour d’elles pour s’en amuser aussi et repousser très loin toutes limites liées à la paternité d’une œuvre, à sa légitimation souvent excluante, aux filtres souvent genrés de l’écoute, et nous pourrions continuer cette liste très longtemps...


Les unes dans les autres et pourtant chacune à leur endroit, elles attestent ici d’une toute autre manière d’être ensemble dans un même projet.


Fair_Play


Dans les architectures pop mutables ou les accentuations mélodiques, dans les voix stridentes ou les expériences sonores, ce projet regroupe des dialogues entre des musiciennes instinctives, curieuses, engagées. «Inclusives», c’est une femme surgissant de la porte dérobée d'un club dont les murs résonnent encore de ses sonorités. «Inclusives» , c’est aussi une élève de conservatoire qui extirpe de son laptop sentiments et rythmes, passions et mélodies. «Inclusives» , c’est encore cette silhouette, apparition qui aurait pu lui échapper entre deux pédales d’effet. C’est des mots de vie, des humeurs et des promesses, la douceur de l’oubli ou l’apreté des revendications, qu’elles vous soufflent à l’oreille.

Music within music. And that' s it.
Perhaps at the beginning, sound materials were shared by four very different women. And it's certainly not for Fair_Play or Tsuku boshi to point out what distinguishes them from the dominant cultural landscape. And above all, we were sick and tired of categories that are not musical genres at all.
Maybe we knew that each one of them was stopped by something and that we wanted to go beyond this obstacle. Maybe we were betting that these singularities would be an infinite treasure to compose. And that there was nothing daring in this inclusive bet, quite the opposite, it would even become normal.
So these four women and many others enjoyed playing with each other's sound materials, composing, asserting a few points. And many others have gathered around them to also enjoy the process and to push back very far all limits linked to the authorship of a work, its often excluding legitimation, the frequently gendered filters of listening, and we could go on with this list for quite a while...
Among each other and yet each in their own place, they attest here to a completely different way of being together in a single project.
Fair_Play

Within the mutable pop architectures or the melodic accentuations, within the strident voices or the sound experiments, this project gathers dialogues between instinctive, curious and committed musicians. "Inclusives" means a woman emerging from the back door of a club whose walls still resonate with her sounds. "Inclusives" is also a Conservatory student who extracts feelings and rhythms, passions and melodies from her laptop. "Inclusives" is another silhouette, an apparition that could have escaped her between two effect pedals. that What they whisper in your ear are words of life, moods and promises, the sweetness of oblivion or the harshness of protests.
